Music duo Ken & Tyke
One of the best kept secrets in the music industry is the dynamic duo of music producers, Ken & Tyke.
That's Ken Brumfield & Ronald " Tyke" Oliver.
Friends for many years and at one time made music together under Promiseland Productions along with another producer, Jeremy Brownie.
Both have different styles of music and decided after reuniting to make music togerher again with Towerlight Records.
They have done a series of remixes typically starting with an original track by Tyke & Ken adds to, tweaks and manipulates til they have a new creation.
" It's something we started experimenting with and as time went on we knew we had something great" says Tyke.

Why Towerlight Records was Created
Music producer ,Ronald "Tyke" Oliver creator of Towerlight Records.
Towerlight Records was created out of the need to feel the gap in music for more positive music. The airways and media platforms are overrun with music and images that enhance the negative aspects of life and in some cases glorifys it.
"The public has a right to listen to or choose what they will indulge in, we simply want to add some healthy choices to the menu" says Oliver.
This doesnt mean all music must be " Happy Music" , just music that you can think freely to or enjoy without taking your mind to the lower places in life.

Positive Music is More Than You Think

One of the things that we love so much about being an Indie label, is all of the definitions and interpretations can be whatever we define them to be. At first glance , the term Positive Music, you may think it only means music that has a happy ending.
Not quite. Positive music is just.music that adds value to the human spirit and experience. Positive music can easily be a sad song, but just like a movie script that is sad, that doesn't mean it doesn't have value and a purpose in the way we see things and view life.
Positive Music can come from all kinds of emotions and experiences.

Towerlight Records Launches The Prayer Network for Musicians & Creators
We are launching a new idea called
The Prayer Network for Musicians & Creators.
With so many frustrated musicians out there who cannot find the resources or the audience for their music.
We thought another approach would be helpful in a way a lot of them may not have considered,
PNMC was inspired by an idea that God planted in the mind of the music producer, Ronald Tyke Oliver, a minister and music producer himself.
"I wanted to intercede for our musicians around the world and plead with the Creator to help them, guide them and inspire them to the next level and greater success in their music careers".
All an artist has to do is call the number and get prayer for their musical journey.
